Call me girly, call me an uber fan, call me whatever you like; but I love Sex and the City. And after years of waiting, the film is finally here!

Even if you aren’t a fan, you gotta admit that this show has done great things for women. At least for this woman. It let me know that all women have had those same bad dates, encountered the same situations, and are essentially dealing with all the same issues. It’s reassuring as we’re out there in the world, to feel that sense of community.

Oh, and of course, they look so good all the while! Which requires a moment to pause and acknowledge costume designer Patricia Field. She is a fearless woman in the fashion world, and I applaud her bold choices.

I know I’ve got a date with a girlfriend to see the film tomorrow night. And I hope you all do too!

Because I can find stuff like this. One of my absolute favorite singers in the whole world, Francoise Hardy, has a ton of music videos on there that she made in the 1960’s. What an amazing resource! Seriously, pick almost anything you like, and I bet it’s on there!
