Good news! I found a new batch of the black and white polka dot fabric I use to make the Ruffle Dress

But don’t wait, as I have had a lot of interest in those dresses, and I only have so much fabric.
So go to the shop now and get yours while you can!

Thanks for waiting for me to get more of the fabric. I know you won’t be disappointed!

faux french

If there’s one thing that my closest friends know about me, it is that I love all things French. Always have, always will. Even those super corny French musicals. Everything French, I just can’t get enough.

So when I saw the video for Foux De Fa Fa by the brilliant Flight of the Concords, I instantly loved it. Please enjoy their suave handling of the French language, with words like baguette, discotheque, and Jacques Cousteau.

welcome to 2009

With laptops, iphones, palms, and more, who really uses traditional calendars anymore? I know I don’t. But, when I spotted this screenprinted hanging calendar from design queen, Lotta Jansdotter, I knew I had to have one.

And lucky for your latecomers, it’s on super sale since the year has already begun. I hung mine on the lemon yellow walls of my kitchen (I picked up the orange printed version on beige linen). My only disappointment is that they are printed overseas. But otherwise, they are divine.

She also has an amazing book out that I actually won at a Craft Magazine party at ReForm School, which is all about printing at home. I highly recommend it.
