One of my favorite things about Paris- the roofs and chimneys…

still moving slow…

My trusty Mac is still super slow and having some difficulties, so I apologize for the lack of posts! But it certainly wasn’t due to a lack of trying!

Since loading photos is out of the question, according to my computer anyway, how about some links? What blogs do I read,  you ask? Mostly food, crafting, fashion, and decor blogs, with the occasional odd ball tossed in for good measure. Here are a few you might enjoy…

Just like it says, it’s mostly beautiful photos of food, life, nature…

This blog has helped my adjustment back into LA life after my month in Paris. At least I can still see the streets like I’m still there!

Already know some basics? Then how about jumping into clothing?

slowly, slowly…

Well, I am back (as noted in the previous post), but working through my photos from Paris is going really slow, due to my suddenly temperamental Mac. I think it’s fighting being back in the states too! See… even my computer prefers Paris :)

Anyway, due to this slowness, my blog posting has come to a creeping halt. I promise more soon… as soon as my Mac cooperates! We may be taking a trip to the Genius Bar soon. So keep your fingers crossed!

Meanwhile, I am getting some sewing done, and for myself for a change! Keeping with my wish to craft more for myself, I actually am. And I’ve been cooking and baking more too. More on that later. But as for sewing; currently in progress… a cute dress with ruffles down the front to the waist and around the top sides as “sleeves”. Hard to explain, but look for photos soon!

Enjoy the fall weather and look for more from me soon…

i’m back!

Well, I did it… I spent September in Paris. I can hardly believe it. In someways it went really fast and in others it felt like I’ve always been there. I fit in and that’s an amazing feeling. We had an incredible time and I promise many photos and stories about what we saw and did, and what inspired me. I feel refreshed! I took this photo of the Tour Eiffel from the Arc de Triomphe. Both seem touristy, and yet don’t underestimate the impact when you’re there… it’s incredible.

Thanks to everyone for keeping up with my “25 things I love” series! I had fun writing them and also reading along. I enjoyed all the comments, both here on my blog and at my facebook page. It seemed to keep you all entertained in my absence!

Also, thanks for all of you that bought things during my sale! It’s still on for a few more days… until next weekend only! So scoop it up while you can. Everything will ship out the week of October 12th and many things are the last of their kind, or close to it.

Thanks so much for everything, and I’ll be back soon with stories, photos, and more!
